If we can't convict Casey Anthony...?

Good question. Casey Anthony should be sitting on death row right now. I think either the 12 idiots from Pinellas County just wanted to go home, or the defense paid off the jury.

Here's the jury charge. Apply the known facts to it. You will find that you must reject each of the specified charges for lack of evidence. Only by ignoring the jury instructions can you create a case for conviction, and that on prejudice alone.

As for the Scott Peterson case, he was convicted despite the evidence (or lack of it), not at all by the evidence. Even the jury have admitted as much.
