Circuits in Parallel and Series Pt 1/4?
A battery is set up in series with four resistances. The battery has a voltage of 9V and each resistor has a resistance of 5Ohms. What is the total resistance and what is the current running through the circuit?

well 4 x 50 =200 ohms
and we know that I=V/R from Ohm's law.
So, since V=9, I=9/200
