ARMY, AIRFORCE OR NAVY FOR A MARRIED PERSON BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF DEPLOYMENTS?

Who gets more deployments? I am having a hard time deciding which one to join for several things. I am considering the Airforce, Army and Navy but I have found pros and cons for the three of them. The Airforce takes care of its people but I wouldn't like to be sitting most of my career on a desk....The Army you are guarantee to work in the job you signed up for but I they do long deployments...The Navy is my favorite but I am not guaranteed to work in the job I signed up for plus many sailors have said that the Navy is not for someone who has a family.

Just so that you guys know if it's a bit of a help I am interested in a Linguistic and Photography careers with the military...

I would like to hear from you guys more pros and cons for each branch that could help me decide better which one is better for me.

Thanks!!

    Army.

    PRO's: The best equipment, food

CON's: Poor leadership unless you go to a true airborne outfit or Rangers. Full of idiots due to lack of recruiting standards. 12 to 15 month deployments.

    Navy.

PRO's: You get to see alot of the world. Good food. 3 to 7 month deployments.

CON's: Lack of physical standards. Long periods of time confined on board a ship. Lax leadership.

    Air Force.

PRO's: Getting a technical job is like having a college degree when you come out. Good food, living conditions. 3 month deployments.

CON's: Very weak leadership, you could get stationed in the middle of nowhere like Minot, North Dakota or in the middle of a desert in Nevada. Poor standards but, better than the Army and Navy. You really won't see much of the world, instead you may be looking at a computer screen your whole enlistment.

    You forgot......

    The Coast Guard.

PRO's: The least know but better than the Navy, Army and Air Force. Decent leadership. Always doing a multitude of meaningful jobs.

CON's: You don't get to see the world and if you get sea sick I wouldn't bother.

    Marine Corps.

PRO's: America's badasses. 911 force. First to fight. Better leadership than any of the above forces mentioned. You start leading pretty much right away. High physical standards and a martial arts program that surpasses all unless you are a SEAL. High standards overall. Most women in the Marines will beat any other male counterpart servicemember in brains and physical standards.

CON's: You get yelled at alot. When their is downtime they will find meaningless things for you to do. Outdated equipment.

Nothing is guaranteed in any branch of the service. If you want what you want you have to be a cut above the rest. I see at least you have a brain by going to outside sources than relying on what a recruiter says. BEWARE! I've seen it and I don't like to be a racist but, women in the military are being sexually used and abused by the Brothers!

All benefits as a veteran are paramount to all service members. Payscale is the same. College benefits are the same.

If you are looking for linguistics check into see what the Marine's 'Lionesse's' has. A great group of Marines! Very professional. I've seen how they work in Afghanistan. For photography, I'd have to say the Air Force.

I am a former Navy vet so i can give you some insight. We usually deploy for 6 months every year and a half. but have alot of sea time 2-3 weeks at a time.Advancement in the Navy is pretty good if you study and take it seriously.(you can have a home life w/navy but you have to be smart about your career choices)Best part is the travel, ive been to 27 different countries my first 3 years and had a blast.

Airforce is great If you dont really want to deploy for long periods, and still have a decent home life. But advancement is crap. Marines basically are having the same deployment schedule as the navy in upcoming months, but the Army is the worst as far as advancement and deployment time

The Army and the Marine do. Not to mention when they go they are right in the middle of the fighting, especially the Marines. You still get deployed in the Chair Force and Navy as well, but you're less likely to get sent to the war zones.
