How to size a menstrual cup?

I have had a vaginal birth, so I ordered the MeLuna medium and large, to see which one I needed. The problem? They are BOTH too large. They both hang out of me when they're in there right.

I would love to be able to use a cup, but now I'm not sure what to do. The small is only 3 mm shorter than the medium, so I think I might need the mini-cup to prevent sliding. Is there any chance that the mini cup might fit me?

I can't afford to keep purchasing cups and not know which size I truly need.

Feel for your cervix when you're on your period, then measure the part of your finger you needed to insert to reach it. Now you known the distance between your vanginal entrance and your cervix.

Keep in mind that the cup can be a bit longer than that distance, because it can sit a bit around the cervix.

If that distance is less than an inch, it's very short and you will need a short, wide cup. My cervix is about an inch in, I use the large size Fleurcup with the stem and grip rings removed, it works very well for me.

You say that both of your Melunas hang out of your vagina... is that the stem or the actual cup? If it's the actual cup, your cervix may be VERY low and you may have trouble finding a cup that will fit.

I suggest that you go and look at the LiveJournal menstrual cup community and ask for advice there. It's a much easier format, that allows longer discussions, and you'll find a wealth of experience there. Good luck!

Random guess, medium. I quite have the small length, offered years in the past whilst there became merely 3 sizes, i think that is 40x40. that is loopy tiny. I quite have low cervix, and that's some distance too short for functional use and slightly bit too narrow. on the plus area, i like the gentle version's experience, despite if no longer each physique will like a cup it fairly is so squishy, i might probable propose the conventional version for first timers. I additionally LOVE the ring, this is merely genius and a characteristic each cup could desire to have. decision of ends is one reason Meluna sticks out, and the ring is extra suitable to the tail or ball or undeniable cup imo.

"The DivaCup is available in two models:

Model 1: For women under 30 years old who have never delivered vaginally or by Cesarean section.

Model 2: For women over 30 years old and/or for women who have delivered vaginally or by c-section.

The Model 1 cup is 1 11/16" (~4.3 cm) in diameter and the Model 2 cup is 1 13/16" (~4.6 cm) in diameter. Both cups are approximately 2 1/4" (~5.7 cm) in length in the body of the cup, with another 3/8" (~1 cm) stem (2 5/8" total length). The stem may be trimmed to adjust for comfort.

There is a small difference between the two sizes (Model 1 is 1/8" (~0.3 cm) smaller), but it is important to use the recommended sizing to prevent leakage.

We recommend Model 2 if you are 30 or over 30 years old, because as we age, our hips naturally widen and the vaginal muscles lose elasticity. Because the vaginal muscles hold The DivaCup in place, it is important to use Model 2 if you are over 30, even if you have not had childbirth."
