BANKING FEES...........How many of you are sick of them?

when I opened my account with Chase both my checking/savings accounts were linked and I was told that there would be no service charges fees due to direct deposit. Now they are beginning to charge withdraw fees from the savings account.

"We will charge you a Savings Withdrawal Limit Fee for any withdrawal or transfer out of your account over six in a monthly statement period. We'll waive this fee if you have a balance of $15,000 or more at the time of your withdrawal or transfer out of your account in a Chase Premier Platinum SavingsSM, Chase Plus SavingsSM, or Chase Business Select High Yield SavingsSM."

I don't know about you, but who the hell has $15,000 in their account with this economy the way it is? Leave it to greedy bankers who have millions to always want to screw the poor person. I hope that when it's their judgement day and they are asked why they deserve to enter the pearly gates and are denied, that they are told what they usually tell everyone else here on earth; 'it's not personnel, it's business' - now you have to live your life in hell because of these selfish practices!!!! I say this, since none of the wallstreet banders had to pay the price of imprisonment for the shady dealings that they did with other people's money.

all the big banks suck. They took money from the government and are still screwing the little guy. Go with a credit union. Wells fargo has similar practices as Chase. Wachovia use to be okay then wells fargo bought them out and now they suck!

    If that is the case

You should not go with Chase

GET an account with no fees

You can find one with ease

Then close your account and replace.

Banks do have to make a profit. But some are more reasonable with their fees than others. Also some of their rules are difficult to understand.

I don't think I have ever been charged a bank fee of any kind in my entire life. They even waive fees for me for wire xfers, Travelers Checques and certified checks.

    Stop whining. It's just capitalism.

Did you expect the bank to do everything for you for free?

I know they raised fees because the government made it harder for them to make money doing other things, but I think the government should make it illegal for banks to make any money

    That'll learn them
