Is learning English language a very easy thing to do? And what made me learn it so fast with no effort?

well, I'm learning french

and learning it is very hard for me

i think english is harder than that-

but it depends on how

through video games, some people can catch on to things very easily- connect words to actions

and put 2 and 2 together

some people learn certain things faster than others (:

I think you are over confident about your english...if you learn some english from your video games that's just because you love to play it so that to understand the games rules, features and other associated things you interestingly learn a part of language without any effort..

But don't jump to the conclusion that it's very easy to learn English without efforts...yes you can make it easy to learn by the interest you have showed...UNDERSTAND it that I am not getting rude but only try to giving you practical facts about how you really could be fluent and best in english...any ways wishes for your interest and your strong (now I am not using 'over') confidence.

Probably because you learned it by just listening to it, I think that's called the "Pimsleaur approach,". Its when you just listen to it and repeat it and don't worry about the mechanics of it or anything. I hate the way that schools teach languages here in the US. It's like learning math or chemistry. Like in my Chinese class: you're given words, you gotta write it, you gotta do the work, you write it down again, you learn phrases, memorize the phrases, learn some news words, read the dialouge... FML. It's just so LAME and BORING and TRADITIONAL. I've heard that if you immerse yourself in a language (Like, going to another country and only hearing that language, or in your case, from video games) for a certain amount of months, then you naturally start to learn it. I wish they taught us like that in my school, but they don't, so now im stuck in a class I hate. Good for you man, being bilangual will take you places. Maybe i should start watching chinese movies with subtitles more oftenn.... idk...

I learned it pretty fast. I was into a Spanish speaking family. No, English is my first language and I don't know a lick of Spanish.

No language is easy, some people are just fast at getting a new language.
