The Reality of Math... a Poem?

yep no doubt.

subtractions are so tough.

1 + 1 = 1?

The way you begin your second stanza, the

reader is prepared for a rebuttal of the first stanza.

Instead of "But now I think..."

it seems logical you would begin stanza two

"I also think of life and limb",

which would blend with the same conclusion

you've reached at end of each stanza.

I feel, however, some Psychology at play.

I believe you intended the reader

to assume the opposite conclusion and

be jolted into finding the exact same conclusion

as the first stanza.
