Is pulling back troops from Afghanistan (by Obama) related to his campaign for presidency?

By the time of his campaign for presidency, Obama was busy with thinking of pulling back the US troops from Afghanistan and tried to not to be too busy with Arab conflicts as he did before. Is that related to his campaign for presidency?

    No.

    1. President Obama is keeping a campaign promise he made in 2008 on withdrawing troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan. So you are almost 4 years off.

    2. The withdrawal is not going to be completed until the end of 2014 so the answer to your question is no because they will not be out by this November. z

Did you really think it was just a coincidence?
