pain/discomfort in the spots where my ovaries are?
I was diagnosed 2 days ago with having a kidney stone which caused me to having a lot of pain. But i woke up awhile ago and the spots where my ovaries are located, are hurting.
I'm wondering if this is just a sign that my kidney stone is passing or is it something else?

Kidney stone pain changes when the stone moves. I have a history of kidney stones and I usually get pain in the front where the ovaries are and then when the stone starts moving the pain moves towards the back where the kidneys are located. And once the kidney stone goes into the bladder then the pain changes again and I feel pain in my urethra (the tube where urine exits). Kidney stones are very painful if they are big, like 3mm and up. The smaller ones 1-2mm cause discomfort but are managable.

When in pain we tense up our body muscles. When you have tight back muscles they can press into the nerves going to the organs as they leave the spine. Pressure on the nerves to your ovary will cause pains in it. Freeing up your back muscles will get rid of any pains caused this way and here's how to free up the muscles for your relief:
Back:
(do while sitting on a chair)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front, and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm as straight as possible. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, then release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
