How do I know if this neutral density filter will fit my camera?

I am looking to purchase a neutral density filter for my Fuji HS20 EXR. It is a bridge camera so changing lenses is not an option for this.

I have found a filter on Amazon (link below) which I think will do the job I want. Before I purchase it, I would like to make sure that it will fit my camera. I know the camera lens has a diameter of 58mm and this filter is 58mm so I thought it would be fine, but are all filters made to fit most cameras? There is no information on Amazon to say whether it fits specific cameras, would the screw thread be standard for all filter kits?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004ZLVL12/ref=...

Thank You for your time and I appreciate ANY help :)

    filters are standard

if the lens says 58mm is the filter thread and the filter is 58mm, then they will fit, regardless of brand. (unless, of course, the manufacturer is simply lying about the filter size)

It will fit. As you can see written on the front of your lens (visible e.g. on this photo http://www.letsgodigital.org/images/artikelen/14/f... your camera has a filter thread diameter of 58mm. That's the same as the filter that you linked, so you can mount it on this camera.

If you want to darken the sky, then i'd rather recommend a circular polarizer though. For most purposes it will be better, and it also enables you to look through reflective surfaces such as water and glass.

From those photographs i can not make out the dimensions of the lens front - is that this the lens you have? there will be a length notation on the front of the lens - 55mm, 58mm and so on. make optimistic the ND clear out is precisely the comparable length or it won't paintings.
