My partner received a text message which appeared to be from my number as it showed up in his conversations with me. However it did not appear in mine and I am 100% certain I did not send it. My handset was next to me in my flat as I slept (I live alone), no one else had access to it.

My question is, could someone have hijacked my number to send that one text message?

The content of the text has put my relationship at risk and I am worried someone has something against me from being with him so I really need some answer to all this!

I am going to contact my carrier/network, but would like some more information!

I have a 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2011) and have just bought a 27" Samsung 2560x1440 display to work with the MacBook while I am at home.

From a bit of Googling, I seemed to find that a DVI cable will supply the highest resolution to the display, so ordered a Mini Display to DVI cable for it also. However, I forgot to think about what the maximum was for the Mini Display part (Apple states that the Mac is cable of a maximum output of 2560x1440)

Now that I have it all set up, it seems that the display can only reach 1080p, not the full 1440p. The display says this, but to me it looks larger than that, the image just doesn't fill the full screen though.

After looking through the display settings on my Mac, is this a cable problem or a Mac problem?

Right, a group of my friends and I are planning to go on holiday in July.

I have a very late birthday in the year (end of August) and so will be 17 years old at the time of the trip. My friends however, will all turn 18 before the trip.

Many of the different travel booking websites have different ages that they class as children some are <16 and some are <17. We have a found some cheap holidays with a website that will mean I am a child when booking. However, because the website finds the cheapest flights and hotel, the different companies involved might have a different policy for children (age wise). This might mean that prices differ also.

So, do you think that booking through a third party website to get cheaper holidays will be ok?

I have been using Photobox for previous prints of my photos but I am just wondering if there were better ones out there, one that is possibly cheaper and/or has better print quality.

I would prefer it to be UK based but if not, I need them to have an option to ship to the UK if necessary.

I go to the gym regularly now and have been for the past few months. I also started to use protein shakes to help me.

At first, I took the advice from the box of protein to drink it immediately after the workout. This meant I would drink it after I finished at the gym. However I have seen people drinking them during their time at the gym, instead of plain water. This meaning that I would drink a bit after each activity at the gym.

I was just wondering if this made any difference and if so, which one is more likely to be affective?

I could just be being stupid but if you could just give me some advice or any help, it would be appreciated.

I am looking to purchase a neutral density filter for my Fuji HS20 EXR. It is a bridge camera so changing lenses is not an option for this.

I have found a filter on Amazon (link below) which I think will do the job I want. Before I purchase it, I would like to make sure that it will fit my camera. I know the camera lens has a diameter of 58mm and this filter is 58mm so I thought it would be fine, but are all filters made to fit most cameras? There is no information on Amazon to say whether it fits specific cameras, would the screw thread be standard for all filter kits?

I would like to know if it is possible for something to be changed that will let the files from my USB memory stick automatically backup TO my Mac every time I insert it in the computer. Hopefully it is something that will only backup new or altered files, not all of the content every time. Something like the Mac 'Time Machine' but as far as I know, that can only be used for backing up the files FROM the Mac. Unless I am wrong.

I started using whey protein shake powder about one month ago. I usually take the recommended amount 20 minutes before all my exercise routines (maximum of 30 min home workout a 4 mile run every day).

I was wondering if the protein supplement is as affective when taken after the exercise than taking it before? When is it best to have it?

I am 17 years old boy and I am thinking of starting using some protein powder to help with my muscle build and toning. I have a set 4 mile run every night and do some relatively short home workouts (max of about 30 minutes morning and evening).

I was just wondering if starting using whey protein powder is going to help build my core muscles even though I do not spend hours and hours in the gym. If it is ok for me to start, what would you recommend?

I would also like any advice for effective home workouts for abs, chest and biceps.

I have had a Tumblr blog for a few months now and I have just re-designed it, I decided to add a few pages to it because I have two parts to my blog.

When I edit the page so I can add my photos, it gives two options; either to find the URL and then it will add it or upload them all again. All of these photos are my own which I have taken. However, when I choose the option to upload them (I thought it would be quicker to do this rather than find the URL for every picture I want to add) I can only select and upload one image from my computer at a time, this would take a long time because I have over 100 images I would like to add.

Is there another way of upload all at once so I can save a lot of time?

I am a 16 year old who has recently started photography as a hobby.

I started a Tumblr blog to show people my work and I would like to find people similar to me and my style of work. The problem is that I cannot find any original blogs where people post the photos they have taken rather than just reblogging other peoples work. Reblogging does not require skills but I would like to show people my work. I know people who have just reblogged loads of photos off other blogs and have more followers than me.

I would like to follow any blog which I can get inspiration and help from, anyone know of any?

I am thinking of buying Final Cut Pro for my Mac but I am confused with the differences when purchasing from Amazon and the App Store. On the App Store, Final Cut Pro X is £199 and on Amazon Final Cut Pro is £899.99. On the Apple website and the App Store, I cannot find the Final Cut Pro program for this price, so is this just a mistake on Amazon?

Is there any differences between the Final Cut Pro from Amazon and the Final Cut Pro X on the App Store except for the price? If the software is the same, why is there such a big difference in price?

I have the early 2011 MacBook Pro (latest) and I would like a nice, professional image editing program. I have used Photoshop quite a bit before but I do not know whether to purchase Photoshop again or start using Aperture (Apple's own image editor)

They are both the same price of £54.99 on the App Store and so I was wondering if anyone had experience with both of them and which one would be best. If you could, please leave just a few pros and cons of each. It will be very much appreciated.

I am 16 and live in the UK and I am doing Biology for an AS subject to then go on and do the full A-level next year (Exam Board: AQA)

For my GCSE's I used SAM Learning for revision on the internet which proved very helpful, I also remember seeing A-level topics on there too. However, since an update at the start of this school year (September) the A-Level revision resources have gone.

So, Please give suggestions to any good and useful websites for English AQA Biology revision if you know of any.

I know many people have been trying to do this when in HD video mode on the HS20 camera and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a manual focus setting available for it. If so, please could you tell me how to turn it on because I can't find it in the settings menu. Thanks :)

For some reason, my Mac OS folder keeps opening up in finder when I startup my mac and login.

I have checked the login items in system preferences but it isn't displayed on the startup items list. Is there a way to resolve this? It really getting on my nerves now.

I am thinking of buying a film but there are two options; buying the theatrical version or the uncut version, both of which are the same price and length

Is there a difference? Which one is better?
