Holiday booking with 17-18 year olds?

Right, a group of my friends and I are planning to go on holiday in July.

I have a very late birthday in the year (end of August) and so will be 17 years old at the time of the trip. My friends however, will all turn 18 before the trip.

Many of the different travel booking websites have different ages that they class as children some are <16 and some are <17. We have a found some cheap holidays with a website that will mean I am a child when booking. However, because the website finds the cheapest flights and hotel, the different companies involved might have a different policy for children (age wise). This might mean that prices differ also.

So, do you think that booking through a third party website to get cheaper holidays will be ok?

Thank you :)

If youre going with a few of you it might be easier to book one big apartment all together, from a an independent accommodation website and not go to a website that does it all for you.. When I went on end of exams holiday with my mates we all stayed together in a self-catered apartment - so we had the option to buy food and cook/ put in microwave rather than spending **** loads of money on meals etc!

You could get a cheap flight off of easyjet.com if you're in Europe or an American alternative. There are some websites that do last minute flights etc, but its probably best to book a while in advance (like now) so you get better deals and can plan a little bit more!

We booked our apartment through holiday-velvet.com, we found a sweet (huge) apartment through them - and if you are going in a group it'd be much cheaper - and you would all be together so that's the most fun part! They have an option to select how many of you there are and dates etc!!

    Good luck with your holiday!

(these apartments don't have a cheaper price for kids normally unless very young, so it wouldn't matter - im not sure if an 18 year old would have to book it - or even if you would have to tell them).

Might be advised to look like you aren't all party animals when 10 teenagers turn up to the apartment! Otherwise you should be fine!
