Ron Paul Supporters ONLY: Do you think we have too many immigrants in the USA?
How do you feel about recent immigration and why?
Are there too many immigrants? Not enough?
If too many, how many and who would you send home first? Second? Third? ...
If not enough, when do you think the USA will be full? 340 million? 350 million? 360 million? (For reference, before ImmAct1990, there were 250 million Americans and less than 5% were immigrants. Now there are 330 million Americans and ~25% are immigrants.
What do you think is the most important issue governing immigration? Sustainability? Relief of people from devastation of their home countries? Refugee status? the interests of US citizens? the desire for low cost/easily manipulable labor for employers in the USA? Other?
American: When I posed the question, I didn't intend to respond to anyone, just check the temperature of my fellow Ron Paul Supporters, but I have to say that 22 years ago we were not a nation of immigrants. The overwhelming majority of us were native-born. Even today, ~75% of us are native-born. People like you who call us a nation of immigrants discount me and my ancestors who built and maintained this country over many generations. Your comment is a personal affront to us and I, for one, take offense. I doubt that our leader, Congressman Paul, MD would say such a thing. In following him, I hope we will all use him as a role model of politeness.
This site gives you an opportunity to apologize. Please do so, and please, never speak/write those words again.
American: With the exception of people somewhere in subSaharan Africa, everybody everywhere in the world has ancestors that immigrated there at some time in the past. That does not make the people living there today immigrants. If you will look up the definitions of native and immigrant. Furthermore, I did not tell you. I asked you. When someone says, "please..." it is a request. You have just added insult to insult. Again, I say to you that you have offended me and everyone who is a native of this country.

Yes way too many immigrants. I would get rid of the illegals first because they cost more than 118 billion every year, Sanc states are the most violent states in the USA - They're also going broke because of the influx of illegals. I'm a racial realist, and every study ever conducted proves me right. I think darker people are just more violent as a whole.

I believe we have too many illegal aliens in the country. I believe are boarders are a joke. I think the US should have had stricter rules on immigration to the US many many years ago. Now the whole issue has got out of hand. You can't stop terrorists 100% from getting into this country, 9-ll. We now have a growing Muslim population who will probably want their own Sharia law in the U.S. (See England). I believe a country has a sovereign right to regulate and pass laws on immigration. We didn't do this when we should have and now look at the mess. God bless you. God bless America.

We are a country of immigrants. We do have too many illegals, tho, including the fraud in the Oval office.
Your ancestors were immigrants, like it or not. And I don't take orders from you. Ron Paul had my attention, but he has some of the nastiest supporters, almost as nasty as Obama supporters. FYI, I seriously doubt Ron Paul himself would ever tell someone to never speak/write those words again. Shame on you.

Too much immigration from Mexico. Because I live in California
Too many.
I would first send home all the Felons and Politicians then I would reevaluate the situation
The ability of employers to hire illegals. (Relief...)
