It won't do as much as as the garden.soil. Each type of soil has specific nutrients and serves a specific purpose.

It will give many plants a quick growth spurt. There could be adverse effects later (sort of like a sugar or caffeine rush for people.) The quality of the veggies may or may not improve depending upon the needs of a specific plant.

It is a great product. I use the 24-8-16 and apply it to my tomatoes every week.
They are now over 6 ft tall and have plenty of tomatoes, some are ripe. I grow only heirloom tomatoes.

It's good stuff but it's expensive if you have more than a few plants to feed. Different plants need different fertilizers. Onions, beets, turnips need more phosphorus. Corn needs more nitrogen. Learn what NPK means and read what your plants need and buy fertilizer accordingly rather than try to make one do for all.
