Yahoo Answers - Why some members not showing interest adding contacts?

Some people mainly use Yahoo Answers just to answer questions or ask questions and may not want to build community with other users. Not to mention, there are so many naughty users and people may not want to be associated with them if they think these users will cause trouble or create problems. Sometimes you get stalkers also.

The Internet is used for a lot of good but it is also used for a lot of bad.

I don't accept contacts any more. A troll does not have to you make you contact to email and harass you. I did have the email on this Yahoo account open to other YA members for about month until about a a week or 10 days after I got a rather weak rape threat email from a troll. Sorry, but I don't need fans or contacts to feed my ego. I've been a loner pretty much of my life.I have a few close friends who have extensive social networks of their own. I don't need fans or contacts from Yahoo to feed or sustain my ego. BTW, my friends all think I'm crazy to spend as much time as I do on YA.

Hello Always Good, see I have added you in my contact. It depends on the person. Sometimes they may be busy with more contacts and not be able to sit with other contacts. Otherwise the field will be limited for them. So no need to worry about those not willing to come into contact. Let us be cheerful with those who are already in our contacts. Some times I remove some persons from my contact as I was not able to answer so many queries posed by them as they are out of my reach totally. So it is quite natural ya.

Though adding someone is each and everyones own interest , but i can say only one thing " respect those people who like you and who give importance to you if you fail then one day you will regret for that " that's it . . .

Most of the new contacts are duplicates

of old contacts.

Many wants some privacy from trolls.
