1st generation Audi S3. I would love to have one, but they cannot be imported here.

265HP Turbo 4 cylinder. Like the Mazdaspeed 3, but smaller and more fun to drive and AWD and faster.

North America did not sell the first generation A3 or S3. They started with the heavier and larger 2nd generation.

Well the Infiniti G35 is actually a skyline (japan). The G35 and GT-R skyline are actually legal to own. At least in my state. Seen plenty of GT-Rs on the street.

The Skyline R34 may be legal, there are some at car shows (pretty sure they are the real deal) and they drive home.

    Even seen the older skylines.

Nope. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a real list of cars that are illegal to import. The R33 Skyline is allowed. It also lists cars that can be imported for display purposes; Skylines are not on this list. So technically, any Skyline you see that isn't a 94-98 model is hotter that two squirrels loving' in a wool sock.

No s15 for the US also,it is a pain for the Skylines in the US as getting one there is a nightmare with no help,as my mate trades in JDM vehicles and parts and when he contacts folks over there whom can help it leads to closed doors.Shame as Skyline are ultimate good fun.

It's not illegal to own one. They are not imported to the USA because the manufacturer chooses not to build one to meet USA safety and emissions standards. You are free to go to Japan or Australia or any other place you can find one and import it yourself. Of course, before you can license it for the street, you'll have to modify it to conform to the standards required here.
