How do I pack this sleeping bag?

It's huge..weighs five pounds and takes up about 90% of the space in my backpack (and it holds 85 L)

Update:

The D-loops are not big enough to fit around the pack and the stuff sack has none of those features that would allow me to attach it. It has a strap on the bottom of the sack which might allow it to be carried vertically...but that would cause a lot of sway, and if attached from the bottom, it would get caught on plants.

You should have D-rings on the backpack that will let you tie the sleeping bag to the outside.

Your backpack might have leather patches with slots for this purpose; in which case you use webbing straps.

(I prefer the D-rings and para-cord. That stuff is so useful that you should be packing para-cord anyway.)
