Mului (Mūlūī) or مولوي.

I've heard this as a last name and the name of certain locations within The Middle East, but I'm unable to find the origin of the word or what it's derived from. Maybe someone can help me out?

Completely hypothetical scenario:

Let's say, when a tenant delivers payment (in the form of a check) for a maintenance fee, the superintendent loses the check. The tenant then cancels the check, which costs a fee, and issues another check that has the required fee minus the cost of cancelling the check; e.g., $412.50 instead of $425.00. The tenant refuses to pay the full amount, and the superintendent refuses to accept the check because it is not in full.

For either party, what would be the best course of action?

I want to obtain my certification as a Paramedic (EMT). However, the programs differ from province to province; you can obtain certification in one province (like Alberta), but that wouldn't necessarily make you qualified to work in another (BC or Ontario).

If I wanted to study in another province, travel there and live there, would I be able to obtain a personal loan for this? What do you think is the best thing to do in this situation?

Now, my Canadian credit card service charges 50 cents per transaction, +3% for international sales, in Canadian currency. Assuming that is all there, please consider the following problem.

A science supplies company, based out of the USA (int'l), charged me $18.70 USD, while it showed up as $20.02 CAD on my credit card bill. I already find myself unable to make sense of this seemingly incongruous result.

Another company, based out of the UK (int'l), charged me an unknown amount (CAD), and it showed up as $5.28 CAD on my bill. What was the original amount?

I have a check appointed to me, but it's from someone who uses CIBC. I use TD Canada Trust, and I'm not sure if they'd allow me to cash the check there.

I don't have a rope aid to help with this. Are there any techniques that could help the string align evenly?

The draw weight is 150lb so I don't feel it is absolutely necessary to have an aid as long as I can get it properly centred.

Please do not tell me to get a cocking aid. I am just looking for methods to help me do it by hand properly, or perhaps suggest some home-made device.

I'm going to buy a used bow from someone that has hardly been used (you can tell they never used it).

The problem is that it's not adjustable and the draw length is set at 28-inches while my normal draw length is 29-inches.

Would this be a big issue if the draw length is short by 1"? Is there any way to adapt or fix this?

It's huge..weighs five pounds and takes up about 90% of the space in my backpack (and it holds 85 L)

I have an Acer Aspire 5535 laptop that is about 3 years old. The only problem with it is either the fan or poor ventilation. The computer over heats very easily and shuts down (I just point a fan at it) unless you use a cooling pad. It also has a small chip on the first layer of plastic on the bottom edge. It's not really noticeable.

The specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 2.0 ghz

15.6'' screen

ATI Radeon HD 3200 (on board)

3GB of RAM

320GB HDD

DVD/CD burner

Windows Vista

My Mother and I are going to be moving to Europe very soon. I'm a Canadian citizen but my Mom is an American citizen who has residence here. Neither of us have a passport right now, and I'm not sure what is required to obtain one. Since getting dual citizenship (Canadian) for my Mom will take too long, does this mean we will have to get our passports separate from each other (one Canadian, one American)? That's the first question. Second, I'm going to be getting my Canadian birth certificate and my SIN card, as well. However my Mom only has a COPY of her American birth certificate (again, what is required to get a passport?). I've looked online on how to get a replacement, and can't find any information about that.

Can someone help us on what we should be doing?
