Circular is always more expensive than square. How much depends on what kind of wood you need, and where you are.
I would call around to different contractors and get some estimates. You'll then have a good ballpark of the cost. It can vary quite a bit between contractors, even with the same materials, and in the same part of the country.

Drill a bunch of 1/2 inch holes in the plywood then seal it with polyurethane (both sides)
