    absolutely nothing! they may work bit underpowered but they will still work perfectly! be it pump, vacuum cleaner or oven, or whatever you want to plug it - it is irrelevant

    Ha ha! The typical line voltage can actually vary from 95 VAC to 135 VAC. It will be close enough and you will not notice any difference.

    If you are really curious, measure the line voltage at the outlet with a VOM. MAKE SURE you are on the correct voltage scale for volts AC and DO NOT short the probes while inserting them into the outlet.

    Nothing, it will work just fine.

    Problems arise when you plug a 110V/120V appliance into a 220V outlet...

    Nothing, usually it will just draw a bit more current. Is it 50Hz vs. 60Hz? Sometimes that can make a difference if motors are involved.
