I am playing Emerald right now, have six badges, and my Pokemon are:

Ninetails - Lv. 45 - Bold
Hidden Power
Overheat
Facade
Flamethrower

Altaria - Lv. 45 - Careful
Peck
Steel Wing
Dragon Breath
Fly

Jolteon - Lv. 45 - Sassy
Thunder
Double Kick
Shock Wave
Quick Attack

Sceptile - Lv. 45 - Docile
Cut
Leaf Blade

I'm playing pokemon fire red and just beat the 8th gym. Now I'm focusing on training up my pokemon to beat the elite four. This is the best team i've ever had on fire red but i just need one more pokemon to complete it which will probably be Mewtwo. Heres my team:

I'm going to add a Mewtwo when i beat the elite four. Right now im focusing on training my pokemon up to level 70 and Blastoise to lvl 73. I'm not sure about the natures of my pokemon though. Your team for Emerald looks really good too.
