How did the fall of communism affect american demacracy and america's global image?

Socialism will always economically fail. The first settlers in the US were using a Socialist system which almost killed them all off.

Democracy will eventually fail (it has in all of history) because the people vote themselves more benefits that economically collapse governments. Democracy is also known as MOB RULE.

The Founding Fathers knew this and WARNED against creating a Democracy.

First of all, it was socialism, not communism. Communism is an utopia that hasn't existed in real life. What we had in USSR and Eastern Europe was socialism. Second, US didn't win the Cold War. There was no winner. USSR did as many remarkable things as US did. If USSR was destroyed, it doesn't mean America has won the Cold War. The fall of USSR lead to absolute domination of America. It fed the idea that "democracy" (pseudo democracy what America has) is the only right way to build a country. But in fact, the majority of Soviet people opposed the destruction of USSR in 1989. They were happier than they are now. The fall of USSR gave Americans justification to think they can dominate the world and push their values on other countries. As a consequence all of Europe, Russia and Asia are becoming americanized. They are losing their own identity.
