Subway - Weight Watchers?
In my WW dining out book, for subway it says 7 PP for a 6'' turkey and ham sub, but then it also breaks down everything else; bread, condiments, cheese etc. I know that cheese and condiments are extra points, and veggies are 0, but what exactly does that 7 PP account for? The meat and bread or just the meat? Help! Today is my first day of WW and am feeling a little overwhelmed!
Bob - Did i say i was eating out today? No, pretty sure i didn't. I'm trying to be prepared and organized as i have a fairly on the go lifestyle. I would also hardly consider Subway as eating out either, its a sandwich? Not anything too different than i would make at home.

Congratulations on joining Weight Watchers! The 7 PointsPlus Values for the Subway Turkey and Ham sandwich is for the bread, meat, and any veggies that would normally come on this sandwich. You are right, if you add cheese or mayo, you will need to add in the extra Points. Subway is a great choice! I love that Weight Watchers members can eat out and still lose weight. That's part of what makes the Program so livable. All the best to you!

I always guess at the aspects when information isn't useful. Seem on the roll and evaluate it to a slice of bread. Each and every slice of bread is 1 factor. Your roll was regularly 3-4 points. Probably more if you obtained a 12". Add a different 2 features for adequate tuna to make a general sandwich on a bit of bread. Veggies are free from elements, just a wager, however i might permit five or six features for a 6" sandwich and eleven elements for a 12" one.

What makes you gain weight is not the calories per se, but your insulin. The more carbs you eat the higher your insulin goes, the fatter you get. You need to eliminate sugar, grains, alcohol, vegetable oils, cut back on starches like potatoes and rice; and eat more meat, fish, eggs and animal fat. You won't over eat, because you feel very full very quickly, and remain satisfied for much longer. It normalizes your glucose, so you don't get those ups and downs in energy that you get when you're eating carbs, so no more cravings for food, no more midnight raids to the fridge. You'll eat very little very few times a day, but not go hungry. See sources bellow for scientists explaining why a low carb diet works and is healthy for you.

If today is your first day, why are you already thinking about eating out? You should be concentrating on eating NOT, rather than eating OUT!!..
