Why Our country the United States will not forgive Boy George for his past drug mistakes?

I grew up LIstening to the 80s group Culture Club when I was in my young teens. I still listen to their music online, and watch their videos on YouTube till this day. They were an Amazing Group and I just Loved the Lead Singer Boy George. Anyway Boy George the lead singer of Culture Club made a very bad mistake when he was here in the USA many years ago. He was on Drugs, and lied about a Burgulary in his apartment, and drugs was found. Boy George was arrested and had to do Community Service. The thing is Boy George is older now, and is currently off drugs, and he and the Group Culture Club decided to get back together. They have written new songs, and wants to perform worldwide, and perform here in the states. A lot of people still love Culture Club music, and would love to see them perform in the States, but unfortunately the USA has refused his Visa, because of his past. Why want our Great Country allow Boy George back in the USA, and forgive him for his past? A person should be given another chance, especially when that person has changed. Is there something that can be done? I really would love to see them (Culture Club) perform in person.

Update:

If you are prejudice, please do not respond. I do not care about Boy George's sex life. I just love his music, and the Band. That is between him and the Good Lord, We all are not perfect, and cannot judge anyone.

As a Brit, and a Boy George fan I understand why America will not let him back into the country. He dabbled with drugs and was caught, so he will not be able to gain a visa. I agree everyone is entitled to a second chance, but not in the case of gaining entry to another country. At the end of the day he knew what he was doing and what would happen if he was caught, but he still went ahead and used drugs.

He was interviewed on our television not so long ago and he is off the drugs and he really is trying to get himself together. I think this is why Culture Club are making new records and touring again.

I am sorry that you will not be able to see Boy George and Culture Club 'live', but he broke your countries law, and the law has to be obeyed.
