Is Vector a good summer job?

I just got offered an interview but I don't know if I want to do it anymore! Is Vector a good job for a student or not?

I worked for Vector Marketing many years ago as a summer job. Made some money, but not much. It's not easy work as it's mostly canvasing sales of Cutco knives (if Vector is still doing the same thing 20 years later, of course).

I would have been better off just getting a part time job waiting tables somewhere than all the work I put in with the return I got. That said, Cutco knives are pretty darn cool knives.

    Good luck!

Google Vector and make your own decision.

Pretty much anyone who applies gets an interview and gets the "job".

Oh good lord no. Do not get involved in this.

No one gets turned down for this job. No one.

Good luck even making 1 single sale all summer.

And as a female, never are go door to door selling anything.

Schools should issue warnings about scam companies.

Vector pays well, but it's basically a door-to-door salesman job. If you want to do that, then sure. I personally wouldn't want to be a door-to-door salesman, but that's just me.

Source(s): A friend of mine did it.
