Why is former President Clinton calling Romney's work at Bain "Sterling"?

President Bill Clinton veered sharply off message Thursday, telling CNN that Mitt Romney's business record at Bain Capital was "sterling."

"I don't think that we ought to get into the position where we say 'This is bad work. This is good work,'" Clinton said. "The man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold."

Clinton also went on to say that Romney's time at Bain Capital represented a "good business career."

    Unlike Obama, Bill Clinton at least understand that you can't love jobs and hate job creators.

    To answer your question;

    Don't sell Clinton short, he is under cutting Obama so Hillary can run in 2016. Bill knows Obama is going to lose and he is saving face and the Clinton name now.....

    he's playing positive politics... he wants to draw a line between the GOP and the DNC...

    DNC = realistic and rational people who give credit where credit is due but still understand that Obama is better

    GOP= insane idiots who blame everything in the world on Obama and are enraged when the unemployment rate drops and cheer when it rises...

    I think it could be effective, particularly as cons are playing their role so well... I've LITERALLY seen several cons say the .1 percent increase was "doom" for America and should be the end of Keynesian economics... lol

    you tell me, which is more rational?
