If you would like to start her on cereal don't add it to the bottle.
Make a small amount in a bowl with breast milk or formula and spoon feed it to her, start with a couple bites.
the cereal really expands and can fill her tummy too much thus creating a very fussy baby.

Yes it's much too early
I can only assume you want to add it to her bottles, which is a chocking hazard, force feeding solids, and contributes to infant and child obesity.
And starting solids before your baby is ready (6months) can cause digestive distress and higher risk of food allergies
Not to mention the idea that empty nutritionless rice cereal some how magically makes your little one sleep longer at night is totally incorrect and outdated advice.
Baby wakes up hungry? Give her more milk
Still seems hungry? Give her more milk
Seems hungry all the time? Give her more milk

You shouldn't add cereal to a baby's bottle. That advice is more than 30 years out of date. I know because I'm almost 30 and my pediatrician told my mom specifically NOT to.

absolutely. their digestive system cannot handle it until AT LEAST 4 months but usually closer to 6 months. plus my pediatrician says never to add cereal to the bottle. you just add a little breastmilk or formula in to a bowl of cereal and spoon feed it to him at 6 months, but never in the bottle.

This is force feeding and even docs give outdated advice (or the advice parent wants to hear).

You are fine. If your baby does ok and you are ok with it, then there is nothing to worry about. My sons doctor told me I could just not to make it too thick.
