Is wearing just one sock instead of two a new trend?

I saw a guy wearing sandals and just a blue sock on one foot. Then I also saw a YouTube with some one with just one sock on.

Update:

Three pairs of socks? Who would know? I do that sometimes in winter. I hate being cold.

    No its not actually , wearing two pairs of socks or three pairs of socks is a new trend .
