How often do you wash foundation makeup brushes?

Washing them monthly or every 2 weeks.

You should clean your brushes every week, maybe every other week if you don't wear make up everyday. Especially facial brushes (concealer, foundation, powder, blush brushes) should be wasted frequently because those brushes pick up the oils on your face and can cause acne.

When washing your brushes use mild water and brush shampoo or baby shampoo. [An antibacterial brush shampoo would be best if you have oily skin otherwise baby shampoo will do the trick for less money.] Be sure to remove as much water from the brush as you can by swiping the brush on a towel after washing and reshape the bristles before laying out to dry.

If you have a makeup cleaning spray use that after every use so you apply with an almost clean brush everytime which is the best option. And then every week do an actual clean with baby shampoo and tea tree oil. If you don't have a spray to use everyday then wash it with baby shampoo and tea tree oil around everyweek to twice a week if you have time. Don't leave them upwards to dry. Tie it to something so that the bristles are pointing down so that the water doesn't go to the handle and destroy the glue.

You can buy (in drug stores or high end brand stores) a brush cleanser that you spray on and just swirl it around on a paper towel. I do that after every use and I deep clean the brushes ever 1-2 weeks depending on how often I use it. every 7 uses i would say. I do this with johnson baby shampoo :D Youtube is a great help when looking for information like this that is where i learned! :D

every week

on a sunday morning i use them, then wash my brushes with warm water and baby shampoo

rinse under warm running water and leave then bristles up in a jug

put the handle downwards so the brushes dont get spoiled

they air dry ready for use monday morning

you should wash them (all your brushes) at least once a week.

I clean mine every week to clear all the bacteria off of them
