Can't see up close with my new gas permeable contacts.......?
I picked up my new gas perm contacts yesterday.I have been wearing them for 25 yrs now. With these new ones, I can see far away but nothing up close. The lady behind the desk at the eye place was blurry. Everything within 12 ft away is blurry. She told me to pick up a pair of 1.75 reading glasses so I went across the street to Walmart to buy a pair. I could not see the prices of anything on the shelves. I tried to check the time on my cell phone but couldn't see anything on my phone including the buttons. When I went to the check stand, I couldn't see to write a check. They told me this is normal and to just use reading glasses but I should not have to use them to see my dashboard, my keyboard and any of the normal things I should be able to see. I should just need them to read....am I right?
thanks........I copied and pasted webmd.foryourtreatment.com/AAMk2xg but got nothing.

If you're over 40 this is normal. If you're under 40 they might be too strong.
