I would recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Clipless curling iron http://www.rylees.co.uk/karmin-professional-salon-... which has a genuine ceramic tourmaline barrel and temperatures of up to 410F. Make sure the curling iron you're going to buy has a good quality barrel, not a ceramic coated one because this can damage your hair.

Conair has very durable, inexpensive, well working curling irons. i strongly recommend them. they sell for about 10-20 dollars.
