Would this power source work?

Now this is somewhat bizarre. I was looking at the internet and there was an engine that ran on nothing. It seemed a little strange as this was the setup: there was a large cranking handle on the side of the engine, and it would generate so much energy that it would turn a generator, making it power itself and the engine. I think its fake, could anyone clarify?

    The thing is ,

    - one has to rotate the handle manually

    - an external power source must be present to turn the handle.

Once the handle is turned, the magnet gets rotated inside a coil.

    This produces the electric current.

The electric circuit is connected parallel to the external power source.

Then the external power is disconnected.

The generator runs on its own.

But, initially you need an external power input or manual control.

    Hope your doubts get clarified....

Fake, doesnt work with 100% efficiency nor can it produce electricity outside of keeping itself running so in essence, its useless.
