so can someone tell me the difference of a mazda miata and the mazda miata m edition? the only difference i noticed from the two variants are that the m editions redline is at 7000 whereas the base edition is at 6000

The M edition had Bilstein shocks, a six speed transmission, was Sapphire Blue, had a two tone black and blue alcantara seats. It was slower in acceleration but had a higher top speed.
