So my twin cousins family is coming to visit this weekend and my mom thinks that i should give up my room to my younger sister and the two twin cousins. I asked why couldnt they use my older sisters room and she said because my older sister always has to give it up. But i think my argument is valid because my older sister (who is a year older than me) goes off to college and half of her belongings are in her apartment and she is only back for winter break. i go to a community college very close to my house and i argued that this is where i come home to every night where i have pretty much all my personal belongings such as my games my laptop which is hooked up to a external monitor and such. I also have all my clothes and books and hats. Not to mention my airsoft pistols. I find it unfair that i have to give up my room because all my silbings and cousins are females and the fact that I (the only male sibling/cousin) has to give up my room. Usually in all the activities we do when they visit, im always the one that is left out anyway being the only one who doesnt have any common interest being a guy. I find it unfair i have to give up my "man cave". Not to mention i have to give up my room to 3 girls. Does anyone else find that weird? I mean im 18 and they are 15/16 highschool girls. Im already in my first year of college. What do you guys think? am i being selfish? please be honest. Thank you

So im going to get my license in a few weeks. And i want to know my choices out there. I want a japanese car. That is sporty. But doesnt have to be incredibly fast like a supra or something. And before u say that manual is not reccomended for new drivers. My dad taught me how to drive manual about 1.5 months into getting my permit. Ive had my permit for almost a year now and have been driving manual with my dad at my side pretty often. I am proud to say that i have improved a lot with driving stick and my dad feels i am experienced enough that he offered me his car. But being my car loving self. I wanted my own car.

Back to the subject. I want this car to be gas saving. Doesnt have to be like a prius. Just something between 22-35 mpg. My dad wants me to get something that is 1994 and newer due to the air conditioning regulation law thingy that apparently passed that year.

Ive looked into the following cars:

240sx, miata, sc300, civic si, integra gsr, acura tl, subaru.

If you can. Name some other jdm cars u can think of. Plz nothing over 7k.

PS. My dad owns a 1994 civic hatchback VX

And yes a civic VX. For those of you who dont know what it is. Honda made a VX which features a gas saving vtec engine called vtec-e. E standing for economical. That car has no abs. No traction control. No power steering. The only luxury in that car is the AC.

ive noticed that BOV has different noise. How to people adjust the noise? Or is it just the different brands that make different noises?

I like a BOV noise like the one in the link but i always wonder how to do it?

lately ive took a liking into this car because of a few of these reasons

1. its a sedan

2. its rwd

3. its practical

4. its super reliable

5. it has a decent amount of space.

but i realized that the mpg was pretty shitty. many people say that they get like 19 or 20 mpg on highway. i find that super hard to believe because

1. that car isnt that heavy

2. it only has 6 cylinder

3. my lr3 land rover which weighs twice it get 19 on the highway at best.

so can someone who knows is300s really well explain to me

1.what makes it waste so much gas (assuming what i hear is true)

2. if the above is wrong, what is the actual mpg
