Dodge jeep chrysler dealer?

So mecand my dad went to the dealer in alhambra california. And we wanted to see a charger and they required us to give us our name drivers liscense address and email address. They said it was their policy. Why the hell do they need all that stuff for us to see a car

Seems strange the dealer would ask for everything you listed if you just wanted to look at a Dodge Charger. If you wanted to test drive the Charger they would ask for you license to verify that you have a valid driver's license before letting you test drive the vehicle.

The request for your email address and address I imagine is so that they can send you mailings from the dealer for new product offers.

Just to look at a vehicle would not require any of the above information to be needed.

They would typically only need that if you are taking the car for a test drive.

The DL is required for insurance reasons. The email is so they can spam you.
