so i just found out they made a acura integra type r in the us? in 97-98? something like that? anyone care to tell me the story. of why there is a type r in the US?

They made them from 97-01. The U.S. never had a type R before because they were expensive for what you got. So Honda decided to get there luxury brand Acura and turn their integra into a type r. My brother used to own one and damn. It was so freaking nice and a head turner.

97-01 except 99. What do you mean the story "of why there is a type r in the US"? Because Acura is a car company and people wanted to to buy the car.
