Gas stove has been on for 12+ hours what do I do?!?

I was staying at my dads house, we left at like 7:00PM but i don't know how long its been on for? I come back home and I smell a strong gas odor. I turned on the microwave vent fan and opened the sliding door, but idk much else to do. I'm literally just sitting here scared on what to do because I remember when I was younger my mom told me a little spark from just opening the door could light the house on fire

Well, DO NOT light any matches or the stove. I would not turn the microwave on. I would open all windows in the house.

Turn the gas stove off and open the windows.

Get out of ur house! Leave some windows slightly open and stay with a friend. The gas fumes are not good for you and can cause nausea.

You really need to have someone come over from the local Fire Dept.to check it out.Find the number and give them a call I think you could call 911 too.,instead.It is kind of important.
