What is the sum of the two rational expressions 4/x2-3x + 6/3x-9? Please show step by step?

    first you must find common denominator, to do that first factorize each denominator:

    4/x2-3x + 6/3x-9 = 4/x(x-3) + 6 /3(x-3)

    so common denominator is 3x(x-3),

    ... = (4*3+6x)/3x(x-3) = 12+6x / 3x(x-3) = 2x+4 / x(x-3)

    The LCD is 3x(x - 3

    [(3*4) + 6x]/(3x(x - 3)) = (4 + 2x)/(x^2 - 3x)
