EDIT: Yes, I am a disrespectful, horrible person. When my dog got into a bottle of computer cleaner, I got all of the money I had together. I didn't have a car so I walked five miles to the vet and sat there for hours while they tried to determine whether or not what he had gotten into was poisonous. Turned out it was pet-friendly environmentally safe cleaner. But that's just the kind of heartless, evil ***** that I am. Sorry if I'm not sympathetic to someone who would just sit there and let their animal die in front of them. Your animal doesn't deserve to suffer and die just because his owner is a dipshit, but I am sympathetic for the animal, not for someone like you who would allow this to happen and then do absolutely nothing about it except for post on the internet.

And I am sure that you are having an absolutely miserable time sitting on your *** letting your animal die while you type on your laptop and shove Cheetos into your face. Not that he's suffering or anything. By the time you actually take him to the vet, which is what you should have done in the first place, it will be too late and your animal is going to die a slow, horrible, painful death. It's called slug "poison" for a reason, and it's not because it makes your animal **** rainbows. Meanwhile you are going through a "tuff time" posting comments on an internet chat room, as your dog goes into organ failure and shock because his ignorant owner decided to see if there was some kind of home cure on the internet instead of taking him to the vet.

And as a side note, I really hope you do not try to make home made ipecac, I'm not sure why because that seems right up your alley of good decision-making. Inducing vomiting will make them throw up all of the poison, which means all of the poison that is slowly melting your dog's stomach and intestines is going to end up in their mouth and esophagus, causing even more damage and killing them faster. Not that you care, since you would obviously be at the vet if you did, but I just thought it was worth mentioning.

If you aren't getting off of your chair and getting your keys right now, then at least hit him over the head with a shovel and put him out of his misery. I'm not saying this to be cruel, but he will die if he does not get medical attention immediately, and there's no point in prolonging his suffering just for you to wait and see if someone will post any other answer besides "get off the internet and take him to the ******* vet." Killing him with a shovel is going to hurt a lot less than dying from slug poisoning, which, by the way, takes several days and there is no reversing it after the first four hours since it will have already been fully digested. If you wait very much longer to take him to the vet, the vet is just going to put him down anyways, so you might as well save your cheap *** self the money since it seems like that's why you are denying your animal needed medical care in the first place.

Take him to the vet ASAP. Get off the Internet.

old style emetic - mix a tablespoon of mustard into a glass of cold water, take the dog outside and try to get him to drink it - it'll work quite quickly, but be prepared that your stupid pet will try to eat the sick all over again, oh, and he may not cope with the glass, might get mustard in his eyes so be a bit careful eh?

Immediately give him syrup of ipecac, which you can buy at any drug store. Then call the vet.
