Your views on Piercings and Tattoos? (Body Modification)?

I have a few piercings myself, (Snakebites, nose, Stretched Ears) but I'm curious. I'm definitely not the trouble maker type, get very good grades 3.8 GPA, never been late to classes, never even had a referral or detention in my life. Most of the time, when I first meet new people, they kind of shy away, I've even had a teacher who assumed I get bad grades because of my piercings. I also have been told that I'm going to regret everything I've done, and that I'm going to look gross when I'm older. I currently have no tattoos but I love them! I'm obsessed with ink shows.

People claim you can't get a job. Isn't that a form of discrimination and prejudice based on your appearance? Body Modifications have been dated back thousands of years ago. I think it's beautiful form of art and expression.

So, what's your views and opinions on Body Modifications? Do you think job employers should see past your skin?

i think job employeers should look past it. it's a look, not a personality.

i started stretching my ears, dying my hair. double peircings and soon my cartilage. A girl at school (im 16) she was my friend, but started judging me. basically calling me stupid for doing it and saying im stupid. we don't talk now. i know i have a 2.8 but i don't care. people shouldn't be like that about a look. I wanna get tatoos when i'm older too.

I love seeing how people express themselves. why not let them? who cares besides you? others shouldn't. i hate how people don't want people with body modifications working for them, it's just stupid

Same as you, I never get in trouble or been late to classes or any of that. GPA 4.0 C:

Piercings: Any is fine to me, well except snakebites, as long as they are not huge and its not the first thing I notice in a person.

Tattoos: I think they are fine, as well, as long as they are not obnoxiously huge and they need to mean something to you. *As long as you can cover it up, job should not be a problem* For example: I really love music, learning to play it, playing, singing, and listening. I want to get a /little/ treble clef on the inside of my wrist, because Treble is what I play in. c:

My views on piercings and tattoos are sort of the normal religious views. Like if God wanted them there they would be their at birth or the body is a temple respect it. But personally .. I dont object to tattoos and piercing its a persons body art.it shows their personality and detail. It shows creativity.

i think its ridiculous how body mods are so frowned upon in the workplace. it doesnt hinder your ability to be a good employee, its a form of self expression. i have my lip and bellybutton pierced and hip dermals, and i plan on getting more piercings plus a few tattoos. its addicting to get new things added to your body and i love it
