My friend is worried about getting out to get food next winter?

Like we didn't have a winter last year and it is the beginning of summer and he is stressing out about what if we have 4 days of 20 below and how will he get food? Is he totally losing it? He has anxiety real bad but I am thinking we can add some issues to that?

Smoke a fat doobie and let it all float away. Kava Kava, Valerian root, meditation, or something to get him to experience the parasympathetic nervous system, the best calming agent. He is worried about the "ifs" and not what he can do now. Who knows, he can pass away the day of the -20 degree weather and then the worrying he done today would have been a waste. Take this person out to enjoy the moment. That is all we have anyway. The Now. No such thing as tomorrow, it's always now that is it. So, they should just live it. Love it. He must really have a fear of death, no confidence or scared of something. Its an illusion he is suffering and it will cause ulcers and other traumatic issues to surface, So tell him to be careful of his thoughts that lead to nothing. He could just prepare himself now for his prediction and his worrying will cease. Worrying just means, do something about it.

How would you get food if the weather was that cold? Tell him he will get his the way you get yours. He could also get a large dog and if needs be make a roast out of fido. If that sounds too harsh he may be able to set up an indoor planter and light to grown corn. Another brilliant idea is to get him some canned food so he could make it through a few days of being in the Donner pass. Good Luck!
