Democrats, what famous right-wingers do you respect?

I really liked the question asked of conservatives, who they liked or respected. So I am asking all of you, which of the republicans/right wingers do you like or have liked?

I wish i could mention a good republican comedian, but I couldn't find anything other than this 1/2 hour new's show that was on Fox in 2007.

off the top of my head...

to be frank... I think a lot of what Reagan did was good...

I think when taxes are high, cutting them can help greatly in a recession... (we have very low top tax rates now, so I'm not sure the same answer is the best answer)

I disagree with some of the things he did, but overall, I thought he did a solid job and I respected him...

McCain, how can you not respect his service... that's crazy all he went through... POW and he stands up for what he believes in... he didn't agree with torture and he stood against the GOP on it and I respect him for that...

again disagree with some of his policies, but respect the man...

I respected George HW Bush for raising taxes because it was right even though it hurt him politically.

I liked McCain until he went party line to become the presidential nominee.

I respect Senator Coburn, even though some of his ideas borderline crazy, he always stands up for what he believes and when Democrats were being threatened he was one of the few republicans that said that Democrats were good people with different views and the attacks were horrible and wrong.

While I don't really respect Nixon, I have to say that he passed a lot of good things that were so liberal, no democrat would have had a prayer of getting through.

The only one I respect and love a great deal is the under secretary of Colin Powell Lawrence Wilkinson... Hes a genuine man. Hes strong and powerful and on his own. And says just what he feels and means exactly what he says. I admire a man like that. Guts. Balls. Not like these weak minded peons on the right that cant think without Grove or Karl. Get out of my face.

I can't think of one off the top of my head. They are all cowards that hide behind puerile sentiment and precious metaphor. I can't possibly respect that. I would say Hitler but even he was a coward that attempted to disguise his motives and conceal his actions. There are no honest right wingers and never have been, they are not worthy of respect.
