What weight to get on disc golf disks?
I was thinking about getting my hubby new discs for fathers day. I was looking online at them and apparently some have different weights?? What weight do I need to get?
Heres a link to one I was looking at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KMOVU8/ref=ox... Thanks!

If he's a beginner those are fine, in the 160's.
If he's been playing for a while, discs made of more durable plastic in the 170's are a better gift. For Innova discs I like Star plastic. They cost about twice as much but they last more than twice as long, by far.
The name of the disc usually includes the type of plastic, unless it's the cheapest plastic, DX type. So if it's called Wraith, it's a DX, if it's called Star Wraith, it's Star.
btw the Wraith is a good distance driver that almost everyone likes.
