Who is more famous and a better actor Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt?

They are both equally famous. Johnny Depp has a bigger acting range and is by far the better actor. Just look at Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, The Mad-Hatter, he's the best. Plus, he is way better looking, not that stereotypical clean-cut look that Brad Pitt has...boring!

A couple of years ago I would have said Johnny Depp was the better actor, but lately Brad's come a long way and Johnny seems to be going downhill. My money's on Brad.

I like Brad Pitt better because he has been in much better movies. He was in Fight Club, Se7en, Snatch, Ocean's 11, Troy, Inglorious Bastards, etc....I mean the guy played Tyler Durden...that enough puts him at the top of the A-List, despite all of his other feats. Depp is great, but Brad Pitt is better.
