what is the statistical test that show significance of some feature frequency among two groups?

my variable is not measurable , it is just whether a side effect happen or do not happen .... when I tried t-test it request quantitative values , because it request a "mean" and "standard deviation" things that are not available when all I have is a simple yes or no , whether a side effect happen or not...

how can I show that frequency of side effects in test group is significantly larger than its frequency in standard group ?

Testing of imply change between two unbiased corporations. Use z-test or t-test depending on pattern sizes or/and normality assumption of populations. H0: µ2=1.2µ1 H1: µ2>1.2µ1 If xbar1=50, xbar2=65 My suggestion is that in calculation for the experiment statistic, (65-(50+10))
