People who don't tip?
Should I add a tip in on credit card slips for people who don't tip and leave it blank? Why don't people remember to tip?

A tip is not a requirement - people seem to forget that. A tip is something a customer gives IF THEY WANT, if the service was good.
If the service was not good, the customer has every right NOT to leave a tip. It is NOT a requirement.
I do always leave a tip myself but I leave what I can afford. I usually always tip, even if the service was mediocre - I don't tip if it was absolutely crappy service (which does not happen often) I have only had 1 bad waitperson in my life, which says a lot about the quality of waiters and waitresses - they are trained well in their customer service skills. Restaurants however have to pay them better because restaurant owners seem to think that it is a requirement that people will tip, so the waitstaff gets so underpaid so they rely on their tips, which is unfortunate as not everyone tips regardless if the service was specactular or not.

Tips? We'll why now not smile at her and say hello.. begin with the fundamentals. Don't act like a jerk and be Macho, women hate that. Just be your self, If she does not like then you transfer on. Plenty of fish within the sea. Hope this is helping, Cheers,

I'm a waitress and I've had people leave me credit card slips blank, with their signature on it. It's equivalent to leaving someone a signed blank check.
These said people have left me a cash tip though, so it's not like they stiffed me. But if I wanted, I definitely could have added any amount tip I wanted onto their card. But I didn't, because it's not right.

If you do, it is theft and this will come back to you in a bad way. Those people most likely left their tip on the table. I do this whenever I use a card, but I put a line through the tip area....now I see it's a good habit on my part!

That's up to you, but before you do that, I would make sure that the person didn't tip in cash. I always tip in cash to make sure that my server gets the tip.
