Can you recommend a good digital camera?

I have a Fuji Finepix, and I'd like something that takes better-quality pictures. I don't want anything that is difficult to use, because I'll be taking a lot of candid pictures that I'll need to snap quickly in mostly indoor lighting. I don't know anything about cameras, but I know that I want something that is fairly small and won't require a large case like some of my amateur photographer friends have. I also do NOT want any Sony products. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

It may be a bit expensive, but a great camera is the Canon t2i. great photo quality and incredible clarity. But if you want a bit cheaper (and still great) camera, i'd suggest the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS. I'm not exactly an expert on cameras but i do know a good share about photography (also i have observed various cameras over the years when looking)

    Good Luck!!!

Try out Fujifilm FinePix S2950 I began using this camera out of the box, on its auto settings indoors; it takes some very impressive photos. I was happy to see that my min pin didn’t suffer the usual "I am a vicious red eyed dog" look. To compare the usefulness of the flash, I took photos in absolute darkness and then used the flash. It was great to see that the flash really did its thing without the great wash out effect. The flash worked just as well in regular settings that required it.

Canon T2i is covered your requirement. It has an 18 mega pixel sensor and takes great photos. It also has 1080 HD video, with a choice of frame rates. The video quality is superb, it looks great on my high definition TV. Please read more details about this DSLR camera in below source before making the decision.

I think you should consider Nikon COOLPIX S8200 16.1MP CMOS Digital Camera with 14x Optical Zoom, Full HD (1080p) movie recording with stereo sound, High-speed continuous shooting
