  • Can you recommend a good digital camera?

I have a Fuji Finepix, and I'd like something that takes better-quality pictures. I don't want anything that is difficult to use, because I'll be taking a lot of candid pictures that I'll need to snap quickly in mostly indoor lighting. I don't know anything about cameras, but I know that I want something that is fairly small and won't require a large case like some of my amateur photographer friends have. I also do NOT want any Sony products. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

  • I need a very secure deadbolt for an outbuilding. The antibump locks that I've seen are for homes?

I need to lock up some equipment that would be expensive to replace and some family pieces that have sentimental value. Recently the keys to the existing deadbolt were stolen by a family member, so I need something that can't be tampered with. Any suggestions?

  • Recurring ear infection in my cat...?

My car has an ear infection - again. Since December, she has scratched at her left ear until it bleeds. Half of the hair on the outside of her ear fell off in February. She has scabby debris in the shell of her ear constantly, and her ears are normally extremely waxy. I have taken her to two different vets, and they both say that it is an ear infection. I would take her back to the vet again, but I'm pretty sure that they'd tell me to dose her for a longer period of time. I still have some of the antibiotic drops (still within the expiration date), and I'm thinking that maybe I just need to dose her for ten days instead of seven. I wouldn't mind taking her back to the vet, but they're both very young and very inexperienced; I'm not sure if it's just a stubborn infection or if there's something that they're not seeing. I'm worried because it keeps recurring. Are there any experienced vet techs out there with any advice?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Big Orange fans, who would you like to see Hamilton hire?

The names that are being tossed around most are:

    Will Muschamp

    David Cutcliffe

    Houston Nutt

There are others, but I'd prefer to get someone from the SEC (besides Cutcliffe) who is loyal to the conference. Any thoughts? Don't say Spurrier!!!

And what are your thoughts on Ed Orgeron? Who do you think will be on the receiving end of NCAA discipline over his texts to the recruits last night? Tennessee, USC, or Orgeron personally? What do you think the NCAA should do?

  • How do I treat ringworm in my kitten?

I got a new kitten three weeks ago, and the home that she lived in was really awful. There was cat waste everywhere and the smell of cat urine was nearly unbearable. Despite her awful origin, the kitten had no fleas or ear mites, but she had some raised, discolored areas on her skin. I took her to the vet for a checkup immediately, but he said that he didn't think it was ringworm. Three weeks later and I am waiting for test results from the vet and I have a raised red lesion that is oval in shape and dry in the middle on my own arm. I looked at ringworm pictures on the net and my lesion looks just like some of those, and I couldn't have gotten ringworm anywhere except from this kitten. Now I'm also worried that the baby could have spread it to my two adult cats. If the test is positive for ringworm, what can I use to treat my kitten and my asymptomatic adult cats?
