you're mainstream because those bands are well known say if you listened to something like earlyrise i would say you aren't mainstream because the band is not well known edit:there is nothing wrong with mainstream music . also why should it matter? if you like a song or artist you like it then. it shouldn't matter if it's mainstream or not

Kind of mainstream, i mean nickleback used to be quite big, so was daughtry but they have kinda died down, whether you listen to maroon 5s old stuff, theyre still mainstream from their song oves like jagger, so maroon 5 will bring your mainstream cred up abit ay, i wouldnt say ur really mainstream ay. What normally makes a person mainstream is if your into hiphop rap stuff you would normally hear on the radio :P

Why does it matter? Seriously, only losers care about not being mainstream. Listen to music because you enjoy it, not because it's not popular and you feel exclusive for listening to it.
