What do you call a good quality that becomes a flaw in excess?
There's a specific term. I think its two words and has a basis in literature. Sort of like Achilles Heel, except that's something slightly different.
Examples:
I'm so focussed that I get distracted from important issues.
I'm trust so easily, that I get myself into trouble.

"To a fault"
If someone is generous to a fault, they give away money so easily that they can't balance their own finances.
